There are many instances of childhood that one can possiblty never forget.... For me too my childhood memories remain as fresh as newly picked mangoes... I can never really forget the countless instances of innate stupidity which were so vibrantly distributed during those days of incessant fun... It was a usual practice of mine to spend the evenings with my friends from school... One day after a particularly difficult pleading session with mom for obtaining the mandatory permission , i set off to my friends place.. After all of us gathered together we indulged in some serious mud throwing(with occasional instances of me eating it) , shoving and screaming... after we had tired ourselves, we decided to go to another friends house...We would be welcomed with piping hot pokodas and lemonade! On the way to rayans house, we stopped by the gutter. And to our great excitement we found out a small little tortoise lurking in the far reaches of the stinky gutter! The excitement in the air was almost electric....there was a lot of confusion as to who would do the incorrigible task of digging into the dirty mess and fishing out the fascinating creature..After a very heated discussion it was decided that i would be the one to do the dirty job... after a sigfnificant amount of pinching of the nose and looking disgusted i finally crawled on my stomach and reached for the little thing with my hands... after moving away a layer of really really disgusting squishy stuff, i pulled the little fella out... and then turns out that the little fello was not really a tortoise . It was one of those really big beatles which were found all over my dads place... After letting out an almighty shreak i flung my hand out as hard as i could... after that day i have never ever tried my hand at any of these frequent bouts of explorative instincts!!
